Diane has over 20 years as a qualified bookkeeper. She has worked for as many as 250 different companies providing payroll tax, sales tax and results of operations, assistance and advice. She has designed accounting systems that track over 180 funds for one company and manages as many as 10 different companies for one client. Diane is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is the controller for Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC.
She has significant experience departmentalizing financial statements and works with a varied number of accounting systems. She is conscientious about her work and quick to resolve difficult management issues.
Diane grew up in Clinton, Maryland and has been married for 28 years. She has two wonderful children.

Jenna Frosio is the Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC, Manager for Accounting, Auditing and Tax departments. Her experience includes performing financial statement engagements, preparation of tax returns for businesses, individuals and nonprofit organizations, as well as managing the books for a handful of business clients. She currently holds the Treasurer position for SOMD Loves You Inc., a start-up nonprofit organization established to help support those on the front lines combating COVID-19 by providing funding and products to hospitals, EMS, and those developing other innovative solutions.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salisbury University and began her public accounting career in 2009. Jenna grew up and lives in St. Mary's County. While out of the office, she enjoys spending time on the water, attending sporting events and reading.

Denise has approximately 20 years' experience in the accounting field. She has worked in both the private and public sectors with nearly a decade of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation for individuals, businesses, trusts and estates. Denise has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Masters of Taxation, and a Juris Doctor with a concentration in tax. She holds a CPA license from the State of New Jersey.
Denise is a remote employee, residing in central Virginia. She enjoys attending her kids sporting events, relaxing at local vineyards with friends, and cooking with her husband. She is also an avid quilter.

Catherine is the firm's business growth partner. Having grown up in family-owned business, she has a lifetime of business experience and a keen interest in the success of businesses.
In 1992, Ms. Askey became a principal owner in a public accounting firm. Today she is the partner responsible for the business valuation and consulting practices of Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC and is a business growth strategist, working with small and medium sized businesses who want to grow through organization, operation and profitability improvements. In 2004, Ms. Askey became a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) certified to perform business valuations in the United States. In 2006, she was accredited in Business Valuations by the American Institute of CPA's.
In the last 35 years, Ms. Askey has been a tax practitioner, managed / supervised many commercial, non-profit and pension audits. In the last 12 years, she has valued many businesses for sale, benchmarking, divorce, and estates.
Ms. Askey currently serves on the Advisory Committees at the College of Southern Maryland for nonprofits and accounting. She is also the Treasurer for the Leonardtown Rotary Foundation.
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Association of CPA’s, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), Ms. Askey has 35 years of experience in public accounting as a licensed CPA,is an active volunteer in the community, the recipient of the distinguished Paul Harris Fellow Award, and past President of the Leonardtown Rotary Club where she has been a member for 30 years.

Bob is responsible for directing the firm’s fraud detection and prevention, and forensic financial services.
Mr. Askey began his professional tax and forensic accounting career as an Internal Revenue Agent for the Washington D.C. Field Office. He spent two years gaining broad tax experience auditing personal and business returns for the local Washington, D.C. Field Office, and added to that international experience with another year and one-half in the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of International Operations.
Mr. Askey left public service in November 1979 to begin his career in public accounting. His first ten years in public accounting were with local/regional/national public accounting firms in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area; Watkins, Meegan, Drury and Company, Friedman and Fuller, PC and Alexander Grant. In October 1988, Mr. Askey brought his extensive tax experience to work in the Southern Maryland area by joining a local firm in Waldorf, MD. Two years later Mr. Askey moved his talents to another local firm in Leonardtown, MD, and became part owner in that firm two years later. In November 1996, Mr. Askey became one of the founding partners and team members of Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC.
Mr. Askey’s public accounting experience covers a broad spectrum of tax and accounting related matters. Mr. Askey brings a great deal of expertise to Askey, Askey & Associates, CPA, LLC’s income tax planning and preparation services, both individual and business. Mr. Askey is also experienced in estate planning and administration, litigation support & expert witness services, receiverships, and business development services. His background provides a unique perspective and experience in handling tax examinations by regulatory authorities.
Utilizing the investigative training and experience he received with the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Askey applied for and received certification in August, 2003 as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The purpose of obtaining this certification was to enable the firm to assist clients in the detection of corporate and employee fraud, and in aiding clients in assessing their own fraud prevention capabilities through a fraud prevention checkup. Mr. Askey has testified as an expert witness in business litigation matters in the District of Columbia and Charles County, MD and St. Mary's County, MD.
In September 2008 Mr. Askey attended the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts Forensic Accounting Academy, successfully completed the curriculum and MAFF certification examination, and as a result earned the designation Combat CPA. On October 29, 2008 Mr. Askey was awarded the designation Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF).
Mr. Askey is a member of the AICPA Tax Section. He is a member in good standing of MACPA, NACVA and the ACFE. Mr. Askey has served on the Board of Directors of several local nonprofit organizations, including two years as President of the St. Mary’s County Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Askey enjoys keeping fit through exercise, volunteering in community events, and assisting his children work through college and into their future careers.
